 Well our next adventure was a beautiful kayaking trip up the Analani River in Hakeiwa. We really enjoyed our trip and it was filled with a river full of turtles....

After our kayaking trip, we headed to Sunset Beache and hung out for the rest of the afternoon.  Brad and I had stopped by the day before and the water was calm, but this day was sooooooo different.  There were 6-8 foot waves, Brad and John played in the water for about 2 hours without getting out even once.   Marissa went in for a few minutes, but she and I really just chilled on the beach.   The warning flags were out, but as you can see by the small dots (aka Brad and John) that did not stop them. 

Koko Head Stair Hike......WOW

Koko Head Crater and Humauma Bay

Start of 1048 steps....

On Tuesday we decided to drive the beautiful drive along the Windward side of the Island to Koko Head Crater and climb the stair's...Brad saw a show on TV about this stair climb and we decided to put on our tennis shoes (Marissa put on her Water Socks) and we arrived about 8am to start our climb.  It is about 1048 rail road ties straight up the side of the mountain.   What a way to relax on vacation (what were we thinking)
