1st Race of 2009

Brad and David, 1st ride of the season.

Well biking season is off and running. Brad had his first race this weekend in St. George (southern Utah for those of you not around Utah or Vegas) The weather was beautiful and Brad was more than ready after all those spin classes at the gym all winter. The kids came down to cheer Brad on on Saturday and all the cheering worked, he took 3rd place out of 27 riders in his class. We were so happy for him. Next race is also in Southern Utah on April 4th. After that the races are up in Northern Utah (the snow should be gone and flowers growing). After the race, Sammi and David went up to Duck Creek to her friend, Kirk's family cabin. Brad and I had a nice quite evening in St. George, went out for dinner and a movie, Paul Blart, Mall Cop, can think of many better uses for $15 dollars. A fun weekend overall. Also a fun note, Brad was able to get a number plate for the whole season and was able to choose his number, of course he picked #86!!
